The People Behind the Rodeo

Mandan Rodeo Days
Committee

All volunteer. All heart. 147 years and counting.

Mandan Rodeo Days doesn't happen without the people behind it. The Mandan Rodeo Days Committee is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization made up entirely of dedicated volunteers who give their time, energy, and passion year-round to produce one of the oldest and most respected rodeos in the world. The committee sets the vision and direction for the event, while partnering with Funatix Events to handle marketing, sponsorships, and event operations. Together, they deliver a world-class experience every July.

"This rodeo exists because people in this community believe in it enough to show up and do the work."

Every member of the Mandan Rodeo Days Committee is a volunteer. They have full-time jobs, families, and lives outside the arena - but they show up because this event matters to Mandan. The committee sets the strategic direction for the rodeo, oversees governance, manages arena operations, and ensures the tradition continues. They partner with Funatix Events for marketing, sponsorship management, ticketing, and event production - bringing professional execution to a volunteer-led organization. It takes year-round planning to produce three nights of world-class rodeo, and that's exactly what this team delivers.
