Calling All Creatives, Graphic Artists and Inspired Rodeo Enthusiasts!
Mandan Rodeo Days is looking for a new visual identity and needs your help! We are tapping our network to see who can put together a creative, innovative and professional logo design that captures the spirit, history and tradition of Mandan Rodeo Days. Please read below for more details regarding logo design, contest rules & submission requirements.
How to Enter the Contest
The contest begins on August 10, 2018. Submissions will be accepted through September 3, 2018. Winners will be announced in via our website, social media channels and by direct contact to the winners’ email accounts. In order for your entry to be submitted and reviewed by our judges, all entries must be:
- Submitted directly to [email protected]
- Submitted in their original source file and
- Submitted as a high-resolution vector.
Logo Requirements
- Professional: This logo will be featured on our website, our social media platforms, rodeo poster and other mediums (stationary, pamphlets, committee shirts, etc). As a result, while we want the logo to be eye-catching, it must still be legible.
- Theme: The theme should capture the spirit, history and tradition of Mandan Rodeo Days, the history of the city or state, etc. What’s your interpretation of the Mandan Rodeo Days celebration?
- Color: There are no limitations and any colors may be used. However, the logo must look good in color (if any) or black and white.
- Integrity: Logos cannot contain copyrighted material. Logos must have been created and edited by the contestant(s). Logos must be family-friendly and must be easily reproduced and scaled for large and small formatting.
The winner will receive public recognition on all social media channels, our website and other print materials, along with two tickets to each performance of the 2019 Mandan Rodeo Days Rodeo, July 2, 3 and 4. We invite you to leave your own mark on the history of Mandan Rodeo Days. Good luck!
