An Annual Tradition Since 1881
On Saturday, July 4th, at 10:40 a.m.(CDT), tens of thousands of spectators from around the world will line the streets of Mandan, North Dakota to celebrate Independence Day with the region’s largest parade.
The Parade, themed “The Sweet Music of Freedom”, will feature the beautiful pageantry and tradition of high-stepping equestrians, spirited marching bands and numerous other displays. Click here for more details.
The Mandan Road Race begins at 8:00 a.m. and will be run right on Main Street. This 5K run / walk will start at the Mandan Depot and anyone can participate.
The Street Festival will begin at 8:30 a.m. with historical figures, celebrities and Disney characters wondering main street greeting people and taking photographs. Deejays, Bands and other entertainment will also take part in the celebration.
The Classic Car parade will start at Midway Lanes on the “Strip” and will travel west onto Main Street at 10:30 a.m.
A special 3-hour broadcast that will be heard on all of Main Street starting at 8:00 a.m. on Cool 98.7.Dance and sing to your favorite classics.un
