Inspired by the traditional summer, tan cowboy hat Tom looks sharp everywhere he goes! The red bandana under Tom’s grin features the Mandan Rodeo Days iconic red logo. His boots also feature spurs on the back like a traditional cowboy because Mandan is where the West begins.

In 2022, the newest mascot came riding into town! It came down to the final hours of voting, but “Ten-Gallon Tom” was voted the community’s favorite name. 

The mascot represents Mandan Rodeo Days in the community and is a part of the Mandan Independence Day Parade among other events in town. Ten Gallon Tom is presented by our friends from Bearscat Bakehouse.
